Fabric haul and current projects

Just back from a trip to my favourite local fabric shop to buy some cotton for lining my D&D dresses, and a few bits for me…

Found a gorgeous white broderie anglais for making myself the Colette blouse and at only £3 a meter you can’t really complain!

Bright red/coral stretch cotton for making the McCalls 2401 dress or a pencil skirt, haven’t decided yet.

Maroon bird print fabric to again make the McCalls 2401 dress in a mini version or possibly a version of my D&D playsuit for holiday!

I’ve also cut out my little black and white jacket and got some amazing flat back gems to sew onto it, might use some of these on the neckline of a top too if I have any left.

I also found a remnant of curtain fabric (think it was £4) which I want to make a boxy collarless coat like this one from Zara but I’m not sure if I have enough fabric…so this might turn out to be a high waisted 50’s style pencil skirt instead!

Just got to find the time to do all this now – eeek.

What have you been making lately? Please share as I love looking at other people’s projects.
