Craft Club – Textile jewellery fun

For those of you who don’t know, I’ve started running craft nights from my home, just with friends to start with but perhaps it will expand one day…we shall see! It’s just a nice way to spend a sat night that doesn’t involve spending loads of money in packed bars…yes yes, I’m sounding old, but it’s nice to get together with your friends and do something different once in a while. This is the sort of thing you only do on a special occasion (hands up anyone who has done a fascinator making workshop for a hen do!) So I’m going to aim to run a class once a month and get all my friends crafting!!

I ran my second craft club a few weeks ago and we all had a blast. 5 girls, cake, wine, tea and endless craft supplies made for an excellent night.

The theme was fabric/ textile jewellery so we made fabric covered rings, pinwheel hair clips and brooches and pleather necklaces and the girls were so in love with my fabric stash that we ended the night making scrunchies, just ’cause…whoop!!

Here are some pics…

I’m running a shoe customising one next month…really hoping someone makes a pair like Pheobe from Friends made…you will know what I’m talking about if you are a Friends fan! hehe x
